ANNOUNCING A NEW LOOK FOR AICR
Beginning today, you'll notice the
American Institute for Cancer Research looking a little different. Along with our colleagues across the World Cancer Research Fund network, AICR is launching an updated logo and brand identity. We're also introducing a bold new initiative to provide the public with friendly, easy-to-use tools and information about lowering cancer risk.
Our New Logo:
We've done much more than tweak our logo. AICR's website www.aicr.org has gotten a facelift: it's cleaner and simpler than ever, and we've tweaked the navigation to help you find the information you want more quickly. We believe the refreshed site expresses AICR's story more directly, guiding you through a visual narrative of our mission: funding cancer research, analyzing evidence and transforming that evidence into tools to help everyone live for lower cancer risk.
Announcing CANCER PREVENTION: TOGETHER WE CAN
Today we also launch a new AICR initiative called CANCER PREVENTION: TOGETHER WE CAN. This awareness campaign will engage the public with interactive tools and empowering, evidence-based information. At www.aicr.org/can-prevent, you can take quizzes to test your cancer prevention knowledge, learn about the science of Foods That Fight CancerTM, download colorful fact sheets and delicious, cancer-fighting recipes and learn which steps to take right now to lower your risk.
You'll see this brand refresh across the WCRF network. We want people in the U.S. and around the world to hear our cancer prevention message and know that it's backed by the most robust and rigorous research available.
All of us at AICR are excited about these changes. Please take a moment to share our new look – and AICR's CANCER PREVENTION: TOGETHER WE CAN site – with others. By doing so, you'll help AICR's research and evidence-based message reach even more people, health professionals, researchers and policy makers and arm them with the practical knowledge that could prevent hundreds of thousands of U.S. cancers every year.
Thank you for your support of AICR; because of you, we are steadily moving closer to the day when no one develops a preventable cancer.
