Research Conference Spotlight: Intervention Trials to Establish Diet and Cancer Relationships: What We Have Learned and Future Opportunities

I hope you can join us for what promises to be a fascinating discussion of intervention trials to establish diet and cancer relationships that will be chaired by Steven Clinton, MD, PhD, of The Ohio State University.

We’ve lined up a dynamic group of speakers who will evaluate several intervention trials on different cancer sites.

What are the difficulties and triumphs associated with intervention studies? What are NCI’s perspectives regarding current and future intervention studies? What should the critical considerations be in designing and interpreting intervention trials?

Other sessions will focus on:

  • Phytochemicals in cancer prevention and treatment
  • Nutrition, health behaviors and cancer survivorship
  • Bioenergetics
  • Policy in cancer prevention
  • Physical activity in cancer prevention and control

Please join us at what has become the premier scientific form on diet, physical activity, weight management as they relate to cancer prevention, treatment and survival. It promises to be a lively and enlightening couple of days.

See you in Washington!

Sincerely,

Marily Gentry
