Interpreting the science is the most critical step in developing guidelines for the public. In 1997 and 2007, we published reports that collected thousands of studies and weighed the accumulated evidence relating diet, physical activity and weight to cancer.

The Marilyn Gentry Fellowship Program in Nutrition and Cancer
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was created to mentor the next generation of leaders in nutritional research as it relates to cancer. The two year Fellowships are designed for individuals transitioning between post-doctoral work and assistant professorships.
