John “Juke” Logan, a legendary blues harmonica player, is suffering from his third round of esophageal cancer after an extraordinary career as a musician. If you ever watched the "Roseanne" or "Home Improvement" sitcoms, or movies like Crossroads, La Bamba or others, you have heard Juke.
He has chosen the American Institute for Cancer Research as the beneficiary of an upcoming concert being held in his honor in Los Angeles, CA. The concert is on April 14th at 5pm EDT (2pm PDT) at Café Fais Do Do and will be streamed live for $10 per ticket. Half of all the revenue from concert streaming will go directly to AICR. The concert can be viewed live here: http://www.aicr.org/links/www-ustream-tv-channel-john-juke-logan-fundraiser.html
You can learn more about Juke on his facebook page here: http://www.aicr.org/links/www-facebook-com-JohnJukeLogan.html
Please consider making a contribution and leaving a few kind words for Juke. With your donation today, AICR can continue to fund promising and innovative cancer research that will change the lives of those touched by cancer.
John Farrell Logan got his nickname by playing Little Walter's harmonica-instrumental gem, "Juke," incessantly. Rockin', multi-media-style, in the music world for over 3 decades, Juke's worked with countless major recording artists and musical trendsetters, such as Ry Cooder, Albert Collins, Leon Russell, & Los Lobos. Like attracts like.
Mocombo Records is Juke's record label.

My father had esophageal cancer and I have such great appreciation for what you have done in raising awareness. If each person on this planet did one thing (gift of time, service or sharing) in order to raise awareness... we would have the power back in the hands of the PEOPLE to find a cure.
Scientists, please find a way to break down the barriers and leave the silos -- lives depend upon your efforts, not pharma, not intellectual property, not profit, but LIVES.
May God bless you, Juke!
